On: Optimism
A 7-day journaling course to reignite your self-belief and return to the quiet truth that you’ve always been capable of more than you realize.
Optimism is a word that often lives on the surface. Something we hope for, but rarely take seriously. It’s easy to believe that some people are simply born with it while others have to work to earn it. When I created our new 7-day journaling course on Optimism, my goal was to shift that narrative. To show you that optimism is not just a hopeful mindset. It is one of the most essential traits you can cultivate. It is a daily choice to believe—in yourself, in what is possible, and in the unknown. It is the embodiment of being open, which is the foundation of how we approach journaling at Wilde House Paper.
This course is intentionally created to be more directive than others. Typically, our prompts leave more space for quiet discovery. Our Growth course, for example, is not about chasing goals—it is about soft ambition. But this course is different. It is about building boldness. It is about uncovering what matters to you and then taking aligned steps to move toward it. Optimism can only get you so far by just journaling about it on the page. It needs to be expressed through how you carry yourself, how you speak about your dreams, and how you move in your life.
This course is a return to the quiet confidence within you—the steady part of yourself that believes, even when doubt tries to take the lead. Through daily guided journaling prompts, you’ll explore what self-belief actually feels like in your body, how to hold space for your own potential, and how to begin trusting in a future you can’t fully see yet.
My hope is that you finish this course understanding that optimism isn’t passive—it’s a practice. One that asks you to keep showing up for what you believe in, especially when the outcome is still unknown. Because that is where real self-trust begins. And that is what expands everything.
Summer naturally invites us to open up a little more. The days feel lighter, possibilities feel closer, and we tend to reconnect with parts of ourselves we’ve put off during busier seasons. That’s why this course is the perfect opportunity to invest into yourself. Over the next week, we’ll use journaling to explore what it means to believe in our own potential—not in a performative way, but in a way that feels honest, energizing, and personal. The kind of belief that quietly reshapes how you speak, how you move, how you show up.
Whether journaling is already a habit or something you’ve been circling around, this is a gentle place to begin again. This club is here to remind us that even though journaling is a solo practice, it doesn’t have to feel isolating. There’s something powerful about knowing others are asking themselves the same questions. It makes the self work you’re investing into feel more supported, more real. If you’re feeling pulled to start, you can unlock access to the full course library and start journaling through Optimism with me this week. If you’re unsure where to begin, we have a quiz to help guide you toward the course that meets you where you are.
I’ll be sharing my Day 1 tomorrow, and I hope you’ll join me if you haven’t already started. Optimism is a course for everyone—a chance to embrace the energy of summer and step into the version of yourself you trust is ready to emerge.
